I think I'm in love with someone. I've only known her for a little over three months. We're currently dating. I'm feeling like I am in love with her... Someone once told me that in order to love someone you have to love everything about them including their past no matter how crazy their past has been. With my first girlfriend, I think I told her that I loved her when I didn't really mean it because I couldn't accept her past. I don't want to be wrong about how I feel with my current girlfriend.
THINKING that I am in love isn't good enough for me. I want to KNOW FOR SURE that I am in love before I say it to her.
So how do you know if you are TRULY in love with someone?
Some say that
past experiences shape who you become. Through the struggles and
hardships it forces one to build character. How important is it to know
about the past about someone else?
More specially, a
significant other. How important is it to know about their past
relationships? How important is it to know the things they have done
with their ex's? Or if they have smoke, drank, had sex, etc?
Someone
told me that if you love someone, you have to love everything about
them including the past and the present. I agree with that. So does
that mean you should ask a significant other about their past and get
to know them better by asking them? Or should you gradually get to know
them over time by talking to them in casual, everyday conversations?
